Part 2 : A faint sound of the baby crying echoes in the darkness.

Then — the grocery store again. Same lighting. Same silence. But everything feels different now.

The girl is no longer standing. She is sitting on the floor, holding the baby tightly, trying to calm it. Her breathing is uneven, panicked. The milk carton is still in her arms — untouched.

The tall man in the dark suit is now standing closer to her than before.

But his posture has changed.

He is no longer just observing.

He is waiting.

Slow reveal: the object he pulled from his pocket is finally visible — a small, worn photograph.

Close-up: the photograph shows the girl… but younger… standing with the man.

A twist of realization hits her face.

Her eyes shake. Her lips part.

She whispers something barely audible.

The man’s voice finally breaks the silence — calm, low, controlled:

“This time… I found you before it was too late.”

The old clerk behind the counter suddenly lowers his gaze, as if he already knew the truth all along.

The baby stops crying for a moment.

The girl looks down at the photograph again… confusion turning into disbelief… then something deeper — recognition.

Final shot: the man slowly extends his hand toward her — not to take anything, but to help her stand.

Fade to black.
