Part 2 : Three days later.Chloe hadn’t slept.

Videos from the street had exploded online.

Millions of views.
Millions of comments.

“The cruel girlfriend.”
“The monster in heels.”
“How could she treat an old woman like that?”

Brands stopped answering her calls.

Friends disappeared.

Even her own sister texted:

“You deserve this.”

But then—

Daniel called.

For the first time since that night.

His voice was calm.

Cold.

“Dinner tonight. 8 PM. One last conversation.”

Hope rushed back into Chloe like oxygen.

Maybe he missed her.
Maybe this could still be fixed.

At exactly 8 PM, she arrived at the most expensive restaurant in the city.

Crystal chandeliers.
Live violin music.
Luxury everywhere.

And in the center of the restaurant—

Daniel sat beside his mother.

Waiting.

Chloe forced a smile and approached carefully.

“Daniel… thank you for meeting me.”

He stood politely and pulled out a chair.

“Sit.”

His mother watched silently.

The entire restaurant felt strangely quiet.

Too quiet.

Chloe tried to laugh nervously.

“I know I made a mistake…”

Daniel raised his hand.

Instant silence.

Then he nodded toward the giant screen behind the bar.

The lights dimmed.

And suddenly—

the security footage from the street appeared on the massive screen.

Every second.

Every word.

In full volume.

“Mind your business, sick old woman.”

Gasps spread across the restaurant.

People turned toward Chloe immediately.

Phones came out.

Recording.

Whispering.

Judging.

Her face drained of color.

“Daniel, stop—”

But he wasn’t looking at her anymore.

He looked at the manager instead.

“Continue.”

The video kept playing.

Again.

And again.

Like punishment.

Tears filled Chloe’s eyes.

“Please…”

Then Daniel finally stood.

Calm.
Emotionless.

“You were embarrassed for five seconds,” he said quietly.
“My mother lived with humiliation for years.”

The restaurant went completely silent.

Chloe shook violently now.

“Daniel… please… I love you…”

For the first time, his mother spoke.

Softly.

“But you never loved people beneath you.”

That sentence destroyed her.

Daniel placed cash on the table.

Turned away.

And this time—

neither of them looked back.
