Lena stood still, holding the phone tightly.
Daniel approached her again, but this time his voice was lower.
Daniel:
“Lena… listen to me. That video is edited.”
Lena:
“Then explain it.”
A new message appeared on her phone:
“LOOK AT THE BACKGROUND.”
She zoomed in.
A detail she hadn’t noticed before—the room in the video had a mirror.
And in the reflection…
Daniel wasn’t alone.
But the woman wasn’t kissing him.
She was handing him a folder.
Documents. Financial papers.
Lena’s face changed.
Lena (confused):
“What… is this?”
Suddenly, a guest from the crowd stepped forward.
It was Daniel’s business partner.
Guest:
“You weren’t supposed to see that.”
The hall went silent again.
Daniel turned sharply.
Daniel:
“So it was you.”
The truth began to collapse into place.
The “scandal” wasn’t betrayal.
It was blackmail.
The partner smiled slightly.
Partner:
“If the wedding happened, you’d get full control of the company. I couldn’t let that happen.”
Lena looked between them, realizing she was never meant to be just a bride—she was part of a deal.
She slowly raised her phone.
Lena:
“So this was never about love… it was about power.”
She hovered her finger over the screen.
Daniel (softly):
“Lena… don’t do it.”
Her final expression hardened.
And—
She pressed SEND.
The screen cut to black as gasps erupted across the hall.
