No one spoke.
The rich boy stared at the photograph like it was burning his skin. His father’s face. The baby girl. A memory he was never supposed to see.
“No…” he whispered. “This can’t be real.”
The girl’s eyes filled with tears, but her voice stayed steady now.
“I didn’t know you existed either… until she told me everything.”
His hands began to shake.
For the first time in his life, money, status, and pride meant nothing.
“Who… is she to you?” he asked, barely breathing.
The girl looked down.
“She was your father’s secret… and my mother’s heartbreak.”
A collective gasp swept through the guests.
The boy stepped back like the ground had shifted under him.
“You’re lying.”
But even as he said it, he knew—he wasn’t sure anymore.
The girl pulled something else from the envelope. A second letter.
His name written on it.
His father’s handwriting.
His world collapsed silently.
He opened it.
His eyes scanned the first line—and froze completely.
The girl watched him, tears finally falling.
“I didn’t come here for revenge,” she whispered.
“I came here because he’s gone… and you’re all I have left.”
The boy looked up slowly, his voice breaking for the first time.
“If this is true… then what are we supposed to be?”
The wind swept across the rooftop.
And before she could answer—
the screen cuts to black.
