Part 2: The ballroom exploded with whispers.

Daniel stepped between his father and the cleaner.

“What is she talking about?” he demanded.

The old man couldn’t answer.

His hands shook violently while staring at the ring.

The cleaner slowly removed the necklace from her neck.

“My mother gave me this before she died,” she said quietly.

The bride gasped.

Daniel’s father looked like he couldn’t breathe.

“That’s impossible,” he whispered. “Your mother is dead.”

The cleaner nodded slowly.

“Yes. Because your family killed her.”

The room froze.

One guest nervously laughed, thinking it was a joke.

But nobody else moved.

The cleaner reached into her bag and pulled out an old photograph.

A younger version of Daniel’s father stood beside a beautiful woman holding a little girl.

The same girl standing in front of him now.

Daniel stared at the picture in shock.

“You’re lying…”

“She was your father’s first wife,” the cleaner said. “Before he became rich. Before he erased us.”

The old man suddenly collapsed into a chair.

Tears rolled down his face.

“I thought you both died in the fire…”

“She survived,” the cleaner answered coldly. “But she spent twenty years hiding because someone from this family tried to silence her forever.”

The bride slowly stepped away from Daniel.

Guests began recording everything on their phones.

Then the cleaner revealed the final truth.

“She died three weeks ago.”

Daniel’s father broke completely.

But before anyone could speak again, the ballroom doors burst open.

Police officers entered.

And one of them shouted:

“Richard Laurent, you are under arrest for the murder of Evelyn Laurent.”

Daniel turned toward his father in horror.

“Dad…”
