Part 2 : The nurse looked at the card in complete shock.

Printed beneath the gold emblem were words that made her heart stop:

Founder & Owner

The old man stood up slowly.

Suddenly his weak posture disappeared.

His voice became strong.

His eyes became sharp.

The nurse couldn’t speak.

Behind them, the receptionist noticed everyone staring and walked closer.

“What’s going on?” she asked.

The old man turned around.

“I built this hospital thirty years ago,” he said.

Silence.

The receptionist’s face lost all color.

“No… no, that’s impossible—”

“For six months,” the old man continued, “I’ve been visiting my hospitals dressed like this.”

Nobody moved.

Nobody breathed.

“I wasn’t checking the buildings.”

He looked directly at the nurse.

“I was checking the people.”

Tears filled the nurse’s eyes.

Then the old man looked at the receptionist.

“Tomorrow,” he said coldly, “don’t come back.”

He turned toward the nurse.

“And tomorrow…”

He smiled.

“Come to my office. We need to discuss your promotion.”

The receptionist stood frozen.

And for the first time that day—

The entire room became silent for a different reason.
