PART 2 — The Truth About Rose

The diner went silent.

The biker stared at the little girl.

His knees nearly gave out.

“What did you say?”

Tears rolled down Emily’s cheeks.

“Mom said my real dad wore the wolf patch.”

The young man suddenly lunged forward.

“She’s lying!”

But three bikers blocked his path.

The giant biker stepped between him and the girl.

“Who are you?”

The man’s confident smile vanished.

Before he could answer, police sirens screamed outside.

The diner doors burst open.

Two officers rushed in.

The young man’s face turned white.

One officer pointed at him.

“Don’t move!”

Emily clung to the biker.

The officer turned to him.

“We’ve been looking for this child for three days.”

The entire diner gasped.

The young man tried to run.

He didn’t make it two steps before officers tackled him.

As he was dragged away, he shouted,

“You’ll never find Rose!”

The biker’s heart stopped.

“She’s alive?”

The officer nodded.

“We found a message hidden in the girl’s backpack.”

He handed over a folded note.

The biker opened it with trembling hands.

The handwriting was unmistakable.

The biker looked down at his daughter.

Then toward the highway outside.

For the first time in seven years, he knew Rose was alive.

And somewhere out there…
