PART 2 — “What Was Hidden Inside”

The boy stopped.

His hand froze on the golden handle.

For the first time, Adrian Vale looked afraid.

“I said don’t open it,” Adrian repeated, voice sharper now.

The guests shifted uneasily. No one was laughing anymore.

The boy turned his head slightly.

“Why?” he asked quietly. “Because my father left proof inside?”

A silence heavier than gold filled the room.

Adrian forced a smile—but it was cracked.

“There’s nothing for you in there,” he said.

But his eyes betrayed him.

The boy pulled the handle.

The safe door opened with a deep metallic breath.

A hidden compartment slid forward.

Inside—was not money.

Not jewels.

But documents.

Photos.

And a small recording device still blinking red.

One guest gasped.

The boy picked up the first photo.

His father… standing beside Adrian… signing papers… arguing… then being dragged away.

His hands shook harder.

A voice suddenly echoed from the device.

His father’s voice.

“If you’re hearing this… it means they failed to bury the truth.”

The room erupted in chaos.

Adrian rushed forward.

“Stop that audio!”

But the boy pressed play louder.

The voice continued:

“Adrian Vale stole everything. And if my son is standing there… it means I’m already gone.”

The boy looked up slowly.

Tears—but no fear.

Only clarity.

“So it was you,” he whispered.

Adrian stepped back.

And for the first time… had no answer.

The recording ended with one final sentence:

“Trust no one in that room.”

The guests began backing away.

Whispers turned into panic.

Adrian’s empire was cracking in real time.

And then—

The boy raised his eyes.

“Now tell them,” he said softly.

“Or I open the second file.”
