Part 2 : The silence lasted only three seconds.

Then chaos exploded across the rooftop.

“Is that true?”

“She owns the company?”

“Oh my God…”

Guests pulled out their phones.

Executives whispered frantically.

Mrs. Whitmore’s face had turned completely white.

“You’re lying,” she snapped.

Elena calmly touched her screen.

A large document appeared.

Then another.

And another.

Official ownership records.

Board approvals.

Trust agreements.

Every signature verified.

Mrs. Whitmore stared at them.

“No…”

The company’s Chief Financial Officer suddenly stepped forward.

His voice trembled.

“Mrs. Reyes is telling the truth.”

The terrace erupted again.

The CFO swallowed hard.

“She owns fifty-one percent of Whitmore & Co.”

Mrs. Whitmore stumbled backward.

“That’s impossible.”

“It isn’t,” Elena replied.

The woman looked around desperately.

For the first time that night, nobody stood beside her.

Not one executive.

Not one guest.

Not one friend.

The security director’s phone rang.

He answered.

His eyes widened.

Then he looked directly at Elena.

“Ma’am… every executive account has been frozen exactly as requested.”

Mrs. Whitmore felt her knees weaken.

Elena walked toward her.

Not with anger.

Not with revenge.

But with dignity.

“My husband trusted people to protect his company.”

She glanced at Leo.

“Instead, you spent years humiliating employees.”

Tears appeared in Mrs. Whitmore’s eyes.

“Please…”

But Elena shook her head.

“You never showed mercy when others begged.”

The board members exchanged looks.

One of them stepped forward.

“Mrs. Whitmore, effective immediately, you’re suspended pending investigation.”

The woman gasped.

“What?!”

Security approached.

The same security guards who had ignored Elena moments earlier.

Now they stood beside the true owner.

As Mrs. Whitmore was escorted away, she turned one last time.

“Elena! Wait!”

But Elena was no longer watching.

She was kneeling beside her son.

Leo looked up.

“Does this mean we’re okay now?”

Elena smiled through tears.

For the first time in years, they were tears of relief.

“Yes, baby.”

She kissed his forehead.

“We’re finally okay.”

The guests began applauding.

One by one.

Then all together.

Under the golden lights of the rooftop, the widow everyone treated like a servant stood revealed as the woman who owned everything.

And for the first time since her husband’s death…

She felt free.
