Part 2: The wedding venue sparkled like a dream—glass walls, golden lights, guests dressed in luxury, laughter floating through the air like champagne bubbles.

Adrian stood at the center, confident, radiant, already playing the part of a victorious groom. Beside him, Celeste smiled carefully, one hand resting on her stomach.

“She didn’t come,” Celeste whispered. “Maybe she finally accepted—”

The doors opened.

Silence cut through the room.

Mia stepped inside.

She wasn’t alone.

In her arms, wrapped in soft white fabric, was a sleeping baby.

Adrian’s smile faltered for the first time.

“Mia?” he said, confused. Then sharper. “What is this?”

Mia walked forward slowly, heels echoing across the marble floor. Every step was steady. Controlled.

“You invited me,” she said softly. “So I came.”

Guests began whispering. Celeste’s face tightened.

“That’s… impossible,” Adrian muttered, staring at the child.

Mia stopped in front of him.

“You said I couldn’t give you a family,” she said. “You were wrong. I already did.”

She placed a folder on the table between them.

Adrian glanced at it, still not understanding.

“What is this supposed to be?”

Mia’s voice was calm.

“Everything you lost the moment you walked away.”

Celeste reached for the folder first. She opened it.

Her expression changed instantly.

Bank transfers. Hidden accounts. Legal signatures. Inheritance claims. Her face went pale as she realized what she had done—and what had been discovered.

“No…” she whispered.

Adrian grabbed the pages, scanning faster now, arrogance collapsing into confusion.

“This isn’t—this can’t be real.”

Mia adjusted her daughter in her arms.

“Oh, it is,” she said. “And there’s one more thing you missed.”

Adrian looked up.

For the first time, he wasn’t in control.

“What?”

Mia met his eyes.

“The baby you called ‘unlike me’…”

A pause.

“…is yours.”

The room froze.

And in that silence, everything Adrian thought he had built began to fall apart.
