Part 2 — The Promise He Broke

The bikers stood frozen.

The leader couldn’t stop staring at the tiny motorcycle.

“I never thought I’d see this again,” he whispered.

Twenty years earlier, he and the boy’s father had built motorcycles together.

They had sworn to protect each other forever.

But one night, everything changed.

A warehouse caught fire.

Believing his friend had escaped, the leader fled the city—and never looked back.

He never knew his friend had survived.

The little boy reached into his pocket and handed him a folded letter.

“My dad told me to give you this… if I ever found you.”

The leader unfolded it with trembling hands.

“If you’re reading this, I kept my promise. Now it’s your turn. Take care of my son.”

Tears rolled down his face.

Without saying another word, he dropped to one knee and hugged the crying boy.

“You’ll never be alone again,” he said.

The other bikers quietly removed their jackets and laid them beside the handmade motorcycle—a silent sign that the boy had just become family.
