The woman’s lips trembled as she whispered:
“Your father didn’t disappear… he was taken because of me.”
The boy’s entire body froze.
The crowd gasped louder.
People kept filming.
Tears filled his eyes.
Before he could speak, the woman slowly opened her handbag and pulled out an old envelope.
Inside was a photograph.
The boy looked at it — and nearly collapsed.
It was his father.
Standing beside the same woman.
But that wasn’t the most shocking part.
In the corner of the photo was a baby in his father’s arms.
It was him.
The woman looked at the boy with tears in her eyes and said:
“I’ve spent years trying to find you…”
