Part 2 : Nobody moved.Nobody breathed.

The father stared at the necklace like he had seen a ghost.

His face lost all color.

“No…” he whispered.

The boy looked down.

“What?”

With shaking hands, the father stepped closer.

“Where did you get that?”

The ballroom had become so silent that even the fountain outside could be heard.

The boy frowned.

“My mother gave it to me.”

The father staggered backward.

Impossible.

Ten years ago, during a terrible storm, his youngest son had disappeared.

Police searched.

Helicopters searched.

Nothing.

No body.

No answers.

Only one thing had vanished with him—

that necklace.

The girl’s eyes filled with confusion.

“Dad…?”

The father slowly looked at the boy.

Tears were already running down his face.

“Say your mother’s name.”

The boy stared at him.

Then quietly said:

“…Elena.”

The father’s knees nearly gave out.

Because Elena wasn’t just anyone.

She had been the woman he loved before wealth, before power…

before he lost everything that mattered.

The boy’s eyes widened.

“Wait…”

He looked back and forth between the father and the girl.

“No…”

The room spun around him.

The girl covered her mouth.

The father stepped forward with trembling hands.

Because at that moment, he realized something impossible.

The stranger who walked into the ballroom barefoot—

was never a stranger at all.

He was family.
