PART 2 — “The Cowboy’s Biggest Lie”

The crowd exploded into chaos.

“What?!”

“No way—”

“Then who’s her father?!”

Colt grabbed the microphone with shaking hands.

“That old man is lying!” he barked.

But nobody believed him anymore.

Because the old guitarist was crying too hard to fake it.

Lena stood frozen in the arena dirt.

“What do you mean… you wrote it?” she whispered.

The old man slowly walked toward her under the glowing stadium lights.

Every step looked painful.

“Thirty years ago,” he said, voice trembling, “I worked on Colt’s father’s ranch.”

The crowd fell silent again.

“I was young. Broke. In love with your mother.”

Lena’s breathing stopped.

The guitarist looked directly at Colt.

“But Colt’s family hated people like us.”

Colt clenched his jaw.

“Don’t do this,” he warned.

The old man ignored him.

“One night… your mother told me she was pregnant.”

Lena covered her mouth.

The guitarist’s eyes filled with tears.

“I wanted to run away with her.”

The arena was so quiet now even the wind could be heard.

“But the Weston family found out first.”

Everyone turned toward Colt.

His face had gone completely pale.

The guitarist pointed at him with a shaking hand.

“His father paid me to disappear.”

Gasps echoed through the crowd.

“He told your mother I abandoned her.”

Lena stared at Colt in horror.

“You knew?” she whispered.

Colt looked away.

That was enough for her to understand.

Tears streamed down her face.

“All these years…” she said.
“You humiliated me because you knew who I was.”

Colt stepped toward her desperately.

“Lena, listen—”

“No!” she screamed.

Her voice echoed across the arena.

“You let me spend my entire life believing my father didn’t want me!”

The crowd began booing loudly.

Phones recorded everything.

Colt’s perfect cowboy image shattered in real time.

Then Lena turned toward the old guitarist.

Her real father.

He looked terrified she would hate him too.

Instead…

She walked slowly toward him.

And hugged him.

The crowd erupted into emotional cheers.

But behind them—

Colt suddenly grabbed the microphone one last time.

His voice cracked as he shouted:

“You still don’t know the worst part!”

Lena turned slowly.

Colt’s eyes were full of panic.

Because headlights had just appeared at the entrance of the arena.

And a black luxury car rolled into the dirt.

A woman stepped out.

Elegant.

Cold.

Terrifying.

Lena’s mother.

And the moment she saw Colt…

She smiled.

“You finally told her?” she asked.

Then she looked at Lena.

“Good.”

Her smile vanished.

“Now tell her who really killed my husband.”
