Part 2 : The little red light blinked faster.

Everyone in the restaurant stared at the child.

Evelyn Laurent’s face turned ghost white.

“Take that from her,” she snapped.

Two bodyguards rushed forward.

But the little girl hugged the teddy bear tightly.

“No!”

One of the guards grabbed the bear anyway.

RIP.

The teddy bear tore open completely.

And suddenly—

a tiny audio recorder fell onto the marble floor.

A woman’s voice echoed through the silent restaurant.

Weak.

Terrified.

“—If you’re hearing this… it means I’m probably dead.”

The entire room froze.

The little girl burst into tears.

“That’s my mommy…”

Evelyn whispered:

“Turn it off.”

But nobody moved.

The recording continued.

“Evelyn Laurent stole my baby thirteen years ago…”

Gasps exploded across the rooftop.

Phones lifted higher.

Guests stared at Evelyn in horror.

“She told me if I ever spoke again… I would disappear.”

Evelyn’s breathing became uneven.

“This is fake,” she said quickly.

But then the recording revealed something worse.

A man’s voice.

Deep. Dangerous.

“After tonight, the child must never find out who her father is.”

The little girl looked confused.

“What does that mean?”

Then—

one of the richest men in the restaurant slowly stood up from a dark corner booth.

Alexander Devereaux.

Billionaire politician.

Future presidential candidate.

And Evelyn’s biggest enemy.

His eyes locked onto the little girl.

He looked like he had seen a ghost.

The child stared back at him.

Then her eyes widened.

Because hanging around his neck…

was the other half of her hospital bracelet.

The same serial number.

The same date.

Alexander whispered in shock:

“Oh my God…”

Evelyn screamed:

“DON’T YOU DARE SAY IT!”

But it was too late.

The little girl stepped toward him with tears streaming down her face.

And Alexander finally whispered the truth the entire city was never supposed to hear:

“She’s my daughter.”
