Part 2: The Child Who Changed Everything

Ethan followed Emma to a small apartment hidden behind the city’s luxury district.

She unlocked the old wooden door.

“Mom! I’m home!”

A woman stepped into the hallway.

The moment she saw Ethan, every color disappeared from her face.

“Ethan…”

He whispered her name.

“Olivia…”

Neither of them moved.

Finally, Olivia spoke.

“I wanted to tell you the truth… but your father paid me to disappear before you knew I was pregnant.”

Ethan felt the room spinning.

Before he could answer, a little boy walked out of the bedroom.

He looked no older than six.

The child smiled.

“Mom… who is he?”

Olivia couldn’t hold back her tears anymore.

She looked at Ethan.

“He doesn’t know…”

Ethan slowly knelt in front of the boy.

“What… what’s your name?”

The little boy grinned.

“My name is Noah.”

Ethan’s eyes filled with tears.

He pulled a tiny silver necklace from his pocket—the one he had given Olivia years ago.

Around Noah’s neck hung the matching half.

At that moment, Ethan no longer needed anyone to tell him the truth.

He had just found the son he never knew existed.
