The biker turned, confused.
“Who is he?”
Emily could barely breathe.
“He’s my son…”
Noah slowly walked closer.
“You thought hiding me would save me.”
Tears streamed down Emily’s face.
“Your father would’ve killed you…”
Noah shook his head.
“He didn’t.”
The diner froze.
“He found me first.”
Emily gasped.
“What…?”
Noah opened his jacket and revealed an old, faded photograph.
It showed the three of them together before everything fell apart.
“He raised me to believe you abandoned me.”
Silence filled the room.
Then Noah’s voice cracked for the first time.
“I spent twelve years hating you…”
Emily collapsed into tears.
“I’m so sorry…”
Noah looked at her for a long moment…
…then stepped forward and hugged her.
“I finally know the truth, Mom.”
The biker quietly smiled and walked back to his coffee, realizing he had just witnessed a family finding each other again after twelve years apart.
