The restaurant went completely dark.
People screamed.
The biker grabbed the girl and moved her behind him.
“Stay close to me.”
When the lights came back on…
The man near the counter was gone.
But on the table, he left a small envelope.
The biker opened it slowly.
Inside was an old photograph.
A picture of him…
Sarah…
and a baby.
His hands started shaking.
“No…”
The girl looked at him.
“Mom kept that photo every day.”
The biker looked at her.
“Why didn’t she tell me?”
The girl lowered her eyes.
“Because she was afraid.”
“Afraid of what?”
The girl reached into her backpack and pulled out a small recording device.
“My mom told me to give you this if I ever found the wolf.”
The biker pressed play.
Sarah’s voice filled the restaurant.
“If you’re hearing this… it means she finally found you.”
The biker closed his eyes.
Tears appeared.
Sarah continued:
“They lied to us. They told you I was gone. They told me you abandoned us.”
The biker looked shocked.
The girl grabbed his hand.
“Mom said you weren’t a bad person.”
A long silence.
Then the recording ended with one final sentence:
“Protect our daughter… because the people who separated us are coming back.”
Suddenly, a black car stopped outside the restaurant.
The same mysterious man stepped out.
But this time…
He wasn’t alone.
The biker looked through the window.
His face became serious.
Because the person standing beside the man…
was someone he thought had died years ago.
