Part 2 : Ryan’s mother couldn’t move.

For twenty years, she had believed she had lost her second baby during childbirth.

The doctors had told her there had been complications.

She was young, terrified, and completely broken.

She had never been allowed to see the baby.

She was simply told:

“Baby #2 didn’t survive.”

But the boy standing in front of her was living proof that they had lied.

With tears streaming down her face, she knelt beside him.

“What is your name?”

The boy hesitated.

Then he answered:

“Evan.”

Ryan stared at him.

“So… you’re my brother?”

Evan slowly nodded.

Ryan immediately hugged him.

For the first time in his life, Evan wasn’t alone.

Their mother broke down crying as she held both boys.

“I looked for you every single day…” she whispered.

Evan cried into her arms.

“I waited for someone to find me.”

Then Ryan noticed something inside Evan’s old necklace.

There was a tiny folded photograph hidden behind the hospital tag.

He opened it.

It showed their mother holding two newborn babies.

On the back, there was a handwritten message:

“If they ever find each other, tell them the truth.”

Ryan looked at his mother.

“Mom… what truth?”

She stared at the photograph, terrified.

Then she whispered:

“There were never supposed to be two babies…”

END — OR IS IT?
