PART 2 : The yellow pill bottle stopped beside Emma’s father’s shoe.

Nobody moved.

He slowly picked it up and stared at the woman in red.

“What did you give my wife?”

Rebecca’s lips trembled.

“I wasn’t trying to kill her.”

Emma screamed through her tears:

“I SAW YOU PUT IT IN MOMMY’S MILK!”

The father stepped toward Rebecca.

“Then tell me what you did. NOW.”

Before she could answer, Sarah suddenly coughed from the bed.

“Sarah!”

Her husband rushed to her.

Sarah’s eyes barely opened.

But she wasn’t looking at him.

She was staring at Rebecca.

“Sister…”

The father froze.

“Sister?”

Rebecca began crying.

Sarah whispered:

“She’s my twin.”

His face went pale.

“You told me your sister died when you were seventeen.”

“I believed she did.”

Rebecca shook her head.

“No. Our mother made Sarah believe I was dead.”

“Why?”

Rebecca opened her handbag and pulled out an old photograph.

Two identical teenage girls stood beside a newborn baby.

Sarah stared at it and immediately began sobbing.

Her husband took the photograph.

“Who’s the baby?”

Neither woman answered.

“WHO IS THE BABY?”

Rebecca finally looked directly into his eyes.

“Your son.”

The photograph almost slipped from his hand.

“That’s impossible.”

Then someone knocked softly on the bedroom door.

Everyone turned.

A teenage boy stood there.

Same dark eyes.

Same jawline.

Same unmistakable face as Emma’s father.

The boy stared at him and whispered:

“Dad?”

Emma’s father could barely breathe.

Rebecca wiped the tears from her face.

But then Sarah grabbed her husband’s wrist.

“No…”

Her voice was suddenly filled with terror.

“That boy isn’t Rebecca’s son.”

Rebecca’s face went completely white.

Sarah looked at her husband and whispered:

“He’s mine.”

And before he could ask another question…

Emma pointed at the old photograph.

“Daddy…”

Everyone looked down.

There was another man standing behind Sarah in the picture.

Emma stared at his face.

Then at her father.

And whispered:

“Why does he look exactly like you?”

Rebecca closed her eyes.

Because the secret wasn’t just about the child.

It was about who Emma’s father really was.
