PART 2 : Daniel carried Lily toward the supermarket entrance while an employee called 911.

But after only three steps, he stopped.

Because behind him, Megan was whispering furiously to Noah.

“You were never supposed to come here.”

Daniel turned around.

“What did you just say?”

Megan said nothing.

Noah’s eyes filled with tears.

Then he looked directly at Daniel.

“She left Lily in the car.”

The entire parking lot seemed to go silent.

Daniel stared at his wife.

“You told me she was with your mother.”

Megan dropped the grocery bags.

“I can explain.”

“No,” Noah said.

His voice shook.

“Tell him why you left her there.”

Megan’s expression changed from fear to panic.

Daniel stepped closer.

“What does he know?”

Noah reached into his pocket and pulled out an old photograph.

Daniel took it.

His hands began trembling.

The picture showed Megan years earlier…

holding a newborn baby.

On the back were two words:

“MY SON — NOAH.”

Daniel looked from the photograph to the boy.

Then back to his wife.

“You have a son?”

Megan started crying.

But Noah shook his head.

“That’s not the worst part.”

Daniel’s stomach dropped.

Noah pointed toward unconscious Lily in his arms.

“She’s not your daughter either.”
