Part 2 : Arthur stumbled out of his wheelchair so suddenly that people screamed.

For a brief second, he stood trembling on weak legs before collapsing against the café table.

But he didn’t care.

His eyes were locked on the black car across the street.

The woman inside was crying.

After twelve years…

Emily Vale was alive.

“Emily…” Arthur whispered.

The moment she heard her name, panic flooded her face.

“Drive,” she told the driver quickly.

The car began pulling away.

“No!” Arthur shouted.

The little boy grabbed Arthur’s sleeve desperately.

“She thought you’d hate us!”

Arthur turned toward him, confused and shaking.

“What are you talking about?”

The boy swallowed hard.

“My mom said your people ruined her life after she got pregnant.”

Arthur’s entire world tilted.

Years ago, Emily had vanished after refusing to marry the son of one of Arthur’s business partners. Arthur had believed she ran away to punish him.

But now…

he realized something horrifying.

She hadn’t disappeared.

She had been hidden.

Arthur’s bodyguards suddenly exchanged nervous looks.

One of them slowly stepped backward.

Arthur noticed immediately.

His expression darkened.

“You knew?” he asked coldly.

Nobody answered.

Then the oldest bodyguard finally whispered:

“Your business partner ordered us not to tell you…”

Arthur’s face twisted with rage.

Across the street, Emily watched in horror as Arthur slowly turned toward the men who had lied to him for over a decade.

“You took my daughter from me,” he said quietly.

The bodyguard reached toward his jacket nervously.

BIG mistake.

Arthur punched him so hard the man crashed into the café window.

People screamed.

Phones recorded everything.

Rain poured harder.

The baby suddenly began crying loudly in the middle of the chaos.

And Emily finally opened the car door.

Arthur looked up.

Father and daughter stared at each other through the rain for the first time in twelve years.

Then Emily whispered the words that shattered him completely:

“He died protecting us…”

Arthur’s face fell.

“Who?”

Emily broke into tears.

“My husband.”

Behind them, the black SUV’s headlights suddenly turned on.

Another car had arrived.

And the man stepping out…

was the same powerful businessman Arthur had trusted more than anyone.
