Until the street went silent.
A black luxury SUV stopped right in front of him.
Door opened.
A woman stepped out—elegant, powerful, unrecognizable.
Vendor (squinting): “Can I help you?”
She removed her sunglasses.
And he froze.
Something in her eyes.
Something familiar.
Woman (cold): “You remember a little girl… a lemonade cart… and a moment you didn’t understand.”
His hands began to shake.
Vendor: “No… it can’t be…”
A suited man stepped forward.
Man: “Sir… she is the owner of the company that now controls this entire district.”
The vendor stepped back.
Vendor: “That child…?”
The woman walked closer.
Woman: “I came back for one reason.”
She pulled out an old, faded photograph.
Woman: “Do you remember the man who was standing across the street… watching me that day?”
The vendor stared at the photo.
His face went pale.
Because he did remember.
And that was the moment everything finally made sense.
