PART 2 — Screams erupted throughout the hall.

Darkness swallowed everything.

Then emergency lights flickered on.

Red light filled the palace.

The gunman was gone.

So was Sophia.

“Lena!” someone shouted.

A folded note landed at her feet.

She picked it up.

Three words were written inside:

TRUST NO ONE.

Lena looked around.

Her aunt was crying.

Her uncle looked terrified.

And for the first time, Lena noticed something strange.

Neither of them seemed surprised that Sophia was alive.

They seemed afraid.

Suddenly, a hidden door behind the staircase slid open.

Sophia appeared.

“Come with me!”

Lena ran after her.

The sisters raced through secret tunnels hidden beneath the palace.

Finally, they reached an underground vault.

Sophia entered a code.

The massive steel door opened.

Inside were stacks of documents, gold bars, passports, and millions of dollars.

Lena stared in disbelief.

“What is this?”

Sophia looked at her with tears in her eyes.

“Our family isn’t rich because of business.”

Lena froze.

“Then how?”

Sophia took a deep breath.

“For twenty years, they’ve been running an international criminal empire.”

Lena’s heart stopped.

“Mom and Dad knew?”

Sophia nodded.

“Everyone knew.”

Footsteps echoed behind them.

The sisters turned.

Their uncle stood in the doorway.

Holding a gun.

His eyes were cold.

“You were never supposed to find this place.”

Lena stepped in front of Sophia.

The uncle smiled.

Then he said something that changed everything.

“Sophia isn’t your real sister.”

Lena’s face went pale.

“What?”

The uncle slowly lowered a photograph onto the floor.

It showed two babies.

One was Sophia.

The other was Lena.

And standing beside them was a woman neither of them had ever seen before.

The uncle smiled.

“Your real mother is still alive.”
