GROOM (furious):
“You’re lying! This is manipulation!”
The bride backed away, tears forming.
BRIDE (breaking):
“What does he mean… paid?”
The man stepped closer, voice calm but cutting.
MYSTERIOUS MAN:
“You think this wedding is love? It’s a contract. A cover.”
He pointed at the groom.
MYSTERIOUS MAN:
“Ask him who owns your future.”
Silence hit like a wall.
An older woman in the front row suddenly stood up.
OLDER WOMAN (shocked):
“…This was supposed to stay buried.”
Everyone turned to her.
The groom looked at her—panic rising.
GROOM:
“No… don’t say anything!”
But it was too late.
OLDER WOMAN:
“He’s not marrying her… he’s merging families to erase a crime.”
The bride dropped her bouquet.
White roses scattered across the floor like fallen truth.
She whispered, broken:
BRIDE:
“So none of this was real…”
The man in the dark suit turned to leave.
Before walking out, he said one final line:
MYSTERIOUS MAN:
“Now everyone knows what love looked like here.”
And the wedding… never recovered.
