Part 2 : The lobby became completely silent.

Lena slowly stood up.

“I shouldn’t have to,” she answered.

The older man walked straight to her.

Without saying another word, he picked up every item from the floor himself.

Then he handed her the envelope with both hands.

Turning toward the stunned crowd, he said,

“Allow me to introduce the woman who owns sixty percent of this building as of this morning.”

No one moved.

Vanessa’s face drained of color.

“That’s… impossible.”

The concierge swallowed hard.

“It isn’t.”

He immediately apologized to Lena.

The guests who had been laughing quietly lowered their phones.

Vanessa took one nervous step forward.

“I made a mistake…”

Lena looked at her calmly.

“No.”

“You made a judgment.”

The private elevator doors opened again.

As Lena stepped inside, every employee respectfully wished her a good morning.

Vanessa remained alone in the middle of the marble lobby, realizing that in less than two minutes, she had destroyed her own reputation in front of everyone.
