Part 2 – The Man Everyone Thought Was Dead

Every biker instinctively reached for his helmet as the men in black suits stepped out of the SUVs.

Their leader wasn’t looking at the bikers.

He was looking at the boy.

“There you are,” he said calmly.

The gray-bearded biker stepped in front of the child.

“You stay away from him.”

The stranger smiled.

“We’re not here to hurt him.”

He slowly pulled an old photograph from his jacket.

It showed the gray-bearded biker standing beside a younger man.

The same man the boy called his uncle.

Twenty-three years earlier.

The biker could barely breathe.

“I buried him myself…”

The stranger shook his head.

“No.”

“He survived.”

The boy reached into his backpack and carefully removed a sealed envelope.

“My uncle said only you could open this.”

With trembling hands, the biker broke the seal.

Inside was a faded map, an old silver key, and a handwritten note.

If you’re reading this, I escaped. But they never stopped hunting me. Protect my nephew… because he’s the last keeper of the Raven.

The biker looked up with tears in his eyes.

For the first time in twenty-three years…

He realized the war they thought had ended was only just beginning.
