Part 2: The Secret Vivienne Never Told

Sienna barely slept that night.

She stared at the photograph until sunrise.

There was no doubt.

The woman in the picture was Vivienne.

Her sister had been alive all these years.

But why had she disappeared?

And what did the message mean?

The next morning, Sienna returned to the bench.

The barefoot boy was waiting.

As if he knew she would come.

“Where is she?” Sienna demanded.

The boy looked nervous.

“She said you would ask.”

“Then tell me.”

He handed her a small key.

“A lighthouse.”

“What lighthouse?”

“The old one near the cliffs.”

Without another word, the boy ran away.

Hours later, Sienna stood before the abandoned lighthouse overlooking the sea.

The wind howled around the stone tower.

Inside, she climbed a narrow staircase to the top.

A single chair faced the window.

And sitting in it was Vivienne.

Alive.

Real.

Older, but unmistakably her.

For a moment neither woman spoke.

Then Sienna burst into tears.

“Why did you leave us?”

Vivienne’s eyes filled with sadness.

“I didn’t leave.”

Sienna froze.

“What?”

Vivienne slowly stood.

“Twelve years ago, I discovered something our father had done.”

Sienna felt her stomach tighten.

“Our father?”

Vivienne nodded.

“He destroyed lives to build the Vance empire. People disappeared. Evidence vanished. I found proof.”

The room suddenly felt smaller.

“I tried to expose him,” Vivienne continued. “But he found out.”

Sienna’s heart raced.

“He threatened you?”

“He threatened everyone I loved.”

Vivienne looked toward the sea.

“So I disappeared before he could make me disappear permanently.”

Silence filled the lighthouse.

Everything Sienna believed about her family began to crumble.

Then she remembered the boy.

“Who is he?”

A faint smile appeared on Vivienne’s face.

“My son.”

Sienna’s eyes widened.

“You have a son?”

Vivienne nodded.

“For seven years, he was the only person who knew where I was.”

Sienna walked closer.

“We can fix this now. We can tell the truth.”

Vivienne looked frightened.

“No.”

“Why not?”

Vivienne slowly pulled a folder from beneath the chair.

Inside were photographs, bank records, and documents.

Enough evidence to destroy the entire Vance empire.

Then she whispered the words that changed everything.

“Because the people responsible are still watching us.”

At that exact moment, a black SUV appeared outside the lighthouse.

And someone began climbing the stairs.
