Julian’s face turned pale as he stared at the documents from a distance, refusing to believe them.
Julian: “This… this is fake.”
Sarah turned a page slowly, then looked at him.
Sarah: “Check the signatures. You’ll recognize yours.”
A security officer stepped forward but stopped when Maxwell raised his hand again.
Maxwell: “Let her speak.”
Sarah stepped closer to the edge of the stage.
Sarah: “You hired me as a nanny because you thought I was nothing.”
Her voice sharpened.
Sarah: “That was your first mistake.”
She closed the folder.
Sarah: “And humiliating me in front of everyone… was your second.”
Julian’s voice cracked.
Julian: “What do you want?”
A pause.
Sarah looked directly at him.
Sarah: “Control.”
She turned slightly toward the room.
Sarah: “Effective immediately, leadership changes start tonight.”
The chandeliers glittered above as the balance of power shifted completely.
