PART 2 : Victoria whispered, “That’s impossible.”

The woman slowly walked into the ballroom.

Adrian didn’t move.

Eight years earlier, he had told everyone that woman was dead.

But now she was standing ten feet away from him.

Alive.

She stopped beside the boy and placed a sealed envelope on the table.

Victoria stared at her husband.

“Adrian… who is she?”

The woman answered before he could.

“I’m the woman he married three years before he married you.”

Guests immediately began whispering.

Victoria looked at Adrian.

“You told me your first wife died.”

“She was supposed to stay gone,” Adrian muttered.

The woman laughed bitterly.

“No, Adrian. You paid me to disappear.”

Then she pointed at the silver key.

“But you forgot one thing.”

Victoria picked it up.

“What does this open?”

The woman looked toward Adrian.

“The room where he kept every document proving who really owns this company.”

Adrian lunged toward the key.

Victoria pulled it away.

Then the boy quietly said:

“That’s not the worst thing inside.”

Everyone froze.

Victoria looked at him.

“What else is there?”

The boy stared at Adrian.

“A video.”

Adrian’s face completely changed.

And before anyone could ask another question, every light in the ballroom suddenly went out.
