Part 2 : The lobby became so quiet that even the piano stopped playing.

The man stepped forward slowly, his expensive shoes clicking against the marble floor. Every employee in the hotel immediately recognized him.

Lucas Hale — billionaire hotel owner.

And the woman standing before the little boy?

His wife.

The woman’s lips trembled.

“Lucas… you weren’t supposed to be here tonight.”

His cold eyes moved from her… to the child.

Then he noticed the hospital bracelet.

Everything changed.

The boy stared at him carefully.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Lucas crouched slightly in front of the child.

“What’s your name, kid?”

The boy hesitated.

“…Ethan.”

“And your mother?”

The boy lowered his eyes.

“She died three days ago.”

A wave of guilt flickered across Lucas’s face.

The woman suddenly grabbed his arm.

“Don’t listen to him,” she whispered urgently. “This is some kind of scam.”

But Lucas wasn’t listening anymore.

Because the child had his eyes.

The exact same gray eyes staring back at him from old photographs.

The boy slowly pulled something else from his pocket.

A folded photograph.

Lucas opened it carefully.

His entire body froze.

It was a picture of him from twenty years earlier… holding a young nurse in his arms.

On the back, written in faded ink:

“If anything happens to me, find Lucas. He never knew the truth.”

The woman panicked.

“I can explain—”

“You lied to me for twenty years?” Lucas asked quietly.

Tears streamed down her face.

“I was scared!”

The guests watched in complete shock as one of the most powerful women in the city began breaking apart in public.

Then the boy spoke again.

Small.

Fragile.

“But… there’s something worse.”

Lucas looked down at him.

The boy’s lip trembled.

“My mom said… I’m not the only child.”

Silence.

The woman closed her eyes in horror.

Lucas slowly turned toward her.

“What did he just say?”

Before she could answer—

The hotel elevators opened behind them.

And a little girl stepped out holding the exact same hospital bracelet.
