PART 2 : Daniel pressed PLAY.

The entire ballroom fell silent.

On the screen, Vanessa stepped into the elevator alone.

Just before the doors closed, a man rushed inside.

Richard—the husband—stopped breathing.

It was his younger brother, Adrian.

Inside the elevator, Vanessa grabbed Adrian’s arm.

“You said Richard would never find out.”

Adrian glanced toward the camera.

“He won’t… if you do exactly what we planned.”

Richard stood up so fast his chair crashed to the marble floor.

“What plan?”

Vanessa spun toward him.

“Richard, please—”

But Daniel raised his hand.

“There’s more.”

The video continued.

Adrian pulled a thick envelope from his jacket.

“Once tonight’s transfer clears, another $800,000 disappears.”

Guests began whispering.

Richard’s face turned pale.

“You’ve been stealing from me?”

Vanessa started crying.

“It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.”

Richard laughed bitterly.

“You framed an innocent maid because she saw you, didn’t you?”

Elena suddenly looked up.

That was it.

Earlier that evening, she had opened the elevator doors and seen Vanessa taking the envelope from Adrian.

Vanessa had planted the necklace in Elena’s bag to get her fired before she could speak.

But Daniel still wasn’t finished.

“The money didn’t go to Adrian.”

He placed a bank statement on the table.

Richard stared at the name on the receiving account.

Then his hands began shaking.

“That’s impossible.”

The account belonged to his father.

A man who had supposedly died twelve years earlier.

Suddenly, the ballroom doors opened.

An elderly man stepped inside.

Richard nearly collapsed.

“Dad?”

Vanessa covered her face.

The old man walked slowly toward his son.

Then he said something that made the entire room freeze.

“I never died, Richard.”

Richard stared at him.

“Then where have you been for twelve years?”

His father looked at Vanessa.

“She knows.”

Vanessa began sobbing.

And then the old man revealed the truth.

“Because she isn’t your wife by accident.”

Richard’s expression changed.

“What does that mean?”

The old man reached into his coat and placed an old photograph on the table.

Vanessa was in it.

Much younger.

Standing beside Richard’s father.

And written across the back were four words:

“Our daughter deserves everything.”

Richard slowly looked from the photograph…

to Vanessa.

Then to his father.

“Whose daughter?”

The old man looked toward the ballroom entrance.

A little girl had just walked inside.

And Vanessa screamed:

“DON’T TELL HIM WHO SHE IS!”
