Noah was breathing faster now.

Not weaker.

Stronger.

The girl was still kneeling, her hand still on his knee.

Noah’s foot moved again.

Not a twitch.

A real movement.

Ethan stumbled back.

“No… no, this is impossible…”

The girl finally stood up.

Calm.

Too calm.

And said:

“I told you. I was sent to find you.”

Ethan’s eyes narrowed.

“By who?”

A long pause.

The girl looked directly at him.

And whispered something that made his blood freeze:

“Because this didn’t start with your son.”

Before Ethan could react—

Noah suddenly whispered:

“…Dad… I remember something.”

Ethan turned—

and the boy’s legs moved again.

This time, fully.

The girl stepped back into the shadows and said:

“Now you see why they tried to hide him.”

Ethan ran toward his son—

but the girl was already gone.
