Three senior board members walked in, followed by security and the CEO himself.
The entire room froze.
The CEO looked directly at the young man.
And immediately lowered his head slightly.
CEO (serious): “We’ve been waiting for you, sir.”
Confusion hit the room like a wave.
The arrogant executive frowned.
Arrogant Man: “Sir…? Wait—who is he?”
The CEO turned slowly.
CEO: “He is the one who designed this entire acquisition deal.”
Silence.
The young man finally spoke, calm and cold.
Young Man: “And I was just testing how your people treat someone they think has no power.”
The arrogant man went pale.
