PART 2 — “THE PROMISE HE NEVER BROKE”

The elderly vendor stared at the documents inside the folder.

His voice trembled.

VENDOR:
“How… how did you find me?”

The businessman smiled.

MAN:
“I never stopped looking.”

He opened an old photograph.

It was a picture of a little boy standing beside the burger cart.

The vendor covered his mouth.

VENDOR:
“That was you…”

The man nodded.

MAN:
“You were the only person who helped me when nobody else cared.”

He looked around at the old cart.

MAN:
“That day, you didn’t just give me food. You gave me hope.”

The vendor wiped away tears.

VENDOR:
“I only gave you a burger.”

The businessman shook his head.

MAN:
“No… you gave me a reason to survive.”

He opened the folder again.

Inside were documents showing that he had bought the entire street and built a modern community center for children in need.

MAN:
“From today, no child in this city will go hungry.”

The old man looked at him in disbelief.

The businessman hugged him tightly.

People around them started clapping.

The same little corner where one kind act happened years ago became a place of hope.

The camera slowly pulls back…

The old burger cart remains in the center.

A new sign hangs above it:

“THE FIRST MEAL — A PLACE WHERE KINDNESS RETURNS.”

FINAL SHOT:
A new child approaches the cart and asks:

CHILD:
“Can I buy the cheapest burger?”

The old vendor smiles.

Looks at the businessman.

And says:

VENDOR:
“No… today, you eat for free.”

FADE OUT.
