The note read:
“Please take care of these babies. They are too small to suffer. I tried many times to end their lives, but I couldn’t. They deserve love, not hunger.”
Rosemary’s hands shook.
Her neighbors told her to leave the babies by the roadside.
“Don’t get involved,” they said.
But she couldn’t.
Not after the dreams.
Not after 30 years of empty prayers.
She took them inside.
She bought clothes, milk, diapers. She sang to them. She held them at night as if afraid they might disappear by morning.
Days passed.
Then weeks.
Then three months.
No one came looking for the twins.
And Tina… vanished.
No one on the street had seen her. It was as if she had never existed.
Then one morning, Rosemary woke up and found Tina standing quietly in her room.
Not at the door.
Inside.
“You prayed for children,” Tina said softly. “God heard you.”
Rosemary’s heart pounded.
“Who are you?” she whispered.
Tina smiled — but this time, there was something different in her eyes.
“Would you still love them,” she asked gently,
“if you knew they were never abandoned?”
And that was when Rosemary realized…
This wasn’t a coincidence.
It was a test.
And the truth was about to change everything.
